REIMAGINING DORSHEI EMET
A very special THANK YOU to the hosts of the home-based Parlour Meetings held over the last few weeks, who went out of their way to make everyone feel comfortable, and in so-doing created an environment for a valuable exchange of ideas:
  • Chiara, Aaron and Wally Fish
  • Dorothy and Sol Stober
  • Bram Rubinger
  • Deborah Kraus
Thank you to Sima Brockstein for coordinating the Parlour Meetings and to Laura Winer, Ruth Flicker and Robyn Bennett who diligently recorded the many ideas, concerns and visions which emerged from the discussions.

Our appreciation to all!
Rabbi Ron, Rabbi Julia, Eada Rubinger

SHABBAT SHUVAH GUEST SPEAKER
Saturday, September 27 10:00am Sydney Shapiro Memorial Kiddush
The Honorable Irwin Cotler, P.C., O.C., M.P.
Professor Irwin Cotler, M.P., will be addressing the topic "The Israel-Gaza War: The Road Not Yet Taken."
Given the changing realities of the Middle East and the many conundrums of waging asymmetrical warfare, where do we go from here?  As always, Professor Cotler will be both challenging and hopeful.  He will address the human rights issues and the indefatigable Jewish quest for working toward a more just, humane world.
Everyone is welcome.
