Tzemah Yoreh is a Hebrew poet, bible scholar, author , and a resident
at CLAL institute for Jewish Leadership in New York. He finished his PhD in bible from Hebrew University at age 24. His recent publications include a contemporary creative liturgy series (including Love-Song for Shabbat) and a series on the development of biblical stories (Kernel to Canon). He lives in Brooklyn with his spouse Aviva, and toddler Boaz. He is a third degree black belt and loves folding origami. He was recently featured in the Times of Israel:

Upbeat kid-friendly service lead by Cantor Heather and our all-congregant "Mishpaha Band," followed by a potluck dinner and an after dinner activity. The Green Kippah Collective is a group of young Jewish adults who are interested in the intersection of urban agriculture and Jewish tradition. During the BBQ they will be selling different varieties of seedlings (baby vegetable plants) for individuals to purchase and plant in their own garden. Through this action people will be able to engage with the growing of their own food and support a new young Jewish environmental organization.
One seedling for $6 and 2 for $10.

MORNING MINYAN |
Minyan takes place every Monday and Wednesday morning at 7:30 am, followed by breakfast. Monday is a traditional davening and Torah reading. Wednesday is a Mindfulness Meditation minyan.
