AROUND TOWN
TWO SIDED STORY
A documentary film that focuses on a group of Israelis and Palestinians brought together by the Bereaved Families for Peace Initiative. The film will be shown this Sunday, 20th October at 3:30 PM in the Visual Arts Building of Concordia University, 1395 Rene Levesque W. (nearest metro station Lucien L'Allier). A moderated discussion will follow the film. The event is sponsored by the Montreal Dialogue Group. Admission is $12, $5 students and seniors. For more information phone 514 483 5763.
 
PLAY DIRECTED BY AVIVA RAVEL
The Performance Playreading Ensemble of the Cote Saint Luc Library presents the hilarious comedy "The Marriage Contract", by Ephraim Kishon ( in English). The play is set in Tel Aviv in the early 50's. The play will show October 24th at 7:00 P.M.

PJ LIBRARY - SPOTS AVAILABLE

The PJ library program mails free Jewish bedtime books and music each month to Jewish families with children ages 6 months to 5 1/2 years in the greater Montreal area.  By sharing timeless stories of Jewish traditions, values and heritage, the PJ library is helping to build a stronger Jewish community. To register for this free program, click www.pjlibrary.org . MORNING MINYAN
Minyan takes place every Monday and Wednesday morning at 7:30 am, followed by breakfast. Monday is a traditional davening and Torah reading. Wednesday is a Mindfulness Meditation minyan.
