Sunday, September 21, 2014
11:30 gathering, 12:00pm marching in parade
We're
looking for musicians, shofar blowers, and people who like to walk to
join our fellow Hampstead Jews from the Adath to march in the Hampstead
Centennial Parade! We're looking for at least a dozen congregants to
participate to show our presence in Hampstead over the
last 55 years and to proudly carry our banner. We'll also have honey
sticks and apple stickers to hand out to the crowd. Feel free to wear
costumes relating to Rosh Ha-Shanah - bees, apples, and shofars
welcome!
Do
you have a convertible that might be able to participate in the parade?
We have some members who would like to be part of the Dorshei team but
are not able to walk the whole parade. If you can lend us your
convertible or, better yet, drive in the parade with a few passengers
and the top down, please let the office know!
Please let us know you'll be joining us by emailing or calling Yana in the office, info@dorshei-emet.org or 514-486-9400.
