SYNAGOGUE NEWS
CALL FOR HIGH HOLIDAY USHERS-WE NEED YOU!
Please help us to ensure that the High Holidays at Dorshei Emet are safe for everyone.  We are looking for volunteers to usher for 1 ½ and/or 2 hour time slot during the Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur services.  Please contact Mark Chernin if you would like to volunteer - mchernin@videotron.ca. There will be an usher's meeting on August 28 at 7pm at the synagogue. All ushers are asked to attend.

HIGH HOLIDAYS-JUST AROUND THE CORNER
The High Holidays are quickly approaching so if you haven't sent in your membership renewal form, please return the completed form to the office or the contact the office to make your arrangements (514) 486-9400.  High Holiday passes will be sent out once the information has been received by the office.  Thank you for your cooperation.  We look forward to celebrating the holidays with you.

Frosh at McGill is meant to welcome new Jewish students to McGill and help the them to connect and be introduced to the student Jewish community. This is the second year that Ghetto Shul, a student run downtown community, is running a Jewish frosh at McGill. MORNING MINYAN
Minyan takes place every Monday and Wednesday morning at 7:30 am, followed by breakfast. Monday is a traditional davening and Torah reading. Wednesday is a Mindfulness Meditation minyan.
