FAMILY TU BISHVAT SEDER
Saturday, January 18, 10-11:45am
The holiday of Tu Bishvat is the New Year of the trees. On Tu Bishvat, we taste foods from the land of Israel, like dates, nuts, figs, and other produce. We also remember to treat the land kindly, and we hope that even though they are hidden under the snow, the trees and plants are healthy and will bloom again in the spring. Join us for a family Tu Bishvat seder and celebrate the trees and the gifts they give us. We'll be tasting interesting fruits, learning about them, and planting parsley - which will grow in time for use at the Passover seder in the spring!

CONGREGATIONAL TU BiSHEVAT SEDER
Following services (12:45-1:30pm)
Join your Dorshei Emet community to get rid of those winter blahs with a celebration of the earth and its (soon) emerging from hibernation. Feast on a delicious Kiddush lunch based on fruits and vegetables. Special fruits and nuts to symbolize spiritual awakening. Song and rejoicing. Blessing and giving thanks. Reflecting on the blossoming beginning beneath the earth. For more information, contact Rabbi Julia, rabbijulia@dorshei-emet.org.
