On the heels of the Haggadah exhortation to "let all who are hungry come and eat," please help us make Dorshei Emet's next 'Empty Bowls' event, Sunday April 14th, 11 AM to 2 PM, another rousing success. So far, since 2001, we and our sister congregation at the Unitarian Church of Montreal have raised over $100,000 to help feed the hungry in and around Montreal. This year's beneficiaries are our own Hannukah Food Baskets project Café Santropol. 'Empty Bowls' arose in 1990 when a Michigan art teacher hit on a way to help students support a food drive: a class project to make ceramic bowls for a fund raising meal. Come one and all, and help us make this year's event the best one ever!
