Are you looking for an after school Jewish enrichment program for your children for the fall?
Calling all Dorshei families! We are exploring facilitating children's classes in Jewish customs, history, and Hebrew language. We would like to know how many families might be interested before we move forward. BEIT HALOCHEM GROUP VISIT 2013
The Montreal Chapter of Beit Halochem Canada will be celebrating its 28th year of hosting a delegation of 10 Israeli veterans and victims of terror in the fall 2013. We invite the support of 10 Montreal families to act as hosts for 2 weeks. During this time we introduce our guests to the Montreal Jewish Community, many of  Montreal's
Jewish institutions, Quebec City, Ottawa and the Laurentians. Each group visit is special and has given unique memories to so many host families and visiting veterans. The dates for the 2013 visit are October 1-15, 2013. ABOUT TOWN

SUMMER WALKING TOUR OF BARON DE HIRSCH CEMETERY
The Baron de Hirsch Cemetery on de la Savane will be offering its third summer walking tour of its grounds on Sunday August 18th.  In case of rain the tour date will be August 25th.  There is no charge for this tour.

The cemetery is over one hundred years old.  The first known burial was in 1904.  It is the final resting place of individuals whose life stories were important for Montreal and many who had international stories. For more details click here, or see the flyer in the synagogue lobby.

MORNING MINYAN
Minyan takes place every Monday and Wednesday morning at 7:30 am, followed by breakfast. Monday is a traditional davening and Torah reading. Wednesday is a Mindfulness Meditation minyan.
