Please join us on Wednesday, December 5 at 7:30pm for our first Kehillah Conversation on the topic of Social Action, introduced and moderated by Laura Winer. The focus of our first community town-hall will be on what kinds of social action                                      or social justice efforts we would like to see our Shul endorse.

Last night our Pre B'nei Mitzvah participants and their families assembled over 200 Hanukkah Food Baskets. On Sunday, they will deliver them to those in our community who are in need. Our synagogue members have created a delightful new program for infants and toddlers. The classes will be filled with Shabbat inspired music, stories and free play led by Cantor Heather Batchelor. Daddies, Mommies, Bubbies &  Zaidies are welcome. Fridays 10:00 -11:30am for 10 sessions, beginning November 23 - $36 for members, $50 for non-members. Contact Jasmine Peleg to register

If you would like an Aliyah for a yahrtzeit on a Shabbat morning, please identify yourself to a Parnass when you come into the sanctuary.  It is recommended that you arrive by 10:15 so as not to miss the opportunity. If you prefer to say Kaddish at the Monday or Wednesday Minyan closest to the actual Yahrtzeit, please contact Irv Perlman at 514 -733 -1874

It is a traditional mitzvah to honour a Yahrtzeit or other important family occasion by making a Tzedakah donation. To donate to the synagogue or sponsor a Kiddush, please contact the Dorshei Emet office.


Minyan takes place every Monday and Wednesday morning at 7:30am, followed by breakfast. Monday is a traditional davenning and Torah reading. Wednesday is a Mindfulness Meditation minyan.
If you are saying Kaddish, observing a yahrtzeit, or marking a special occasion, please join us.  It is a wonderful way to start the week or the day in a warm and inspiring ambience among friends.

Sunday, December 16 at 3:30 pm, in commemoration of Human Rights Day, Canadian Friends of Rabbis for Human Rights (Montreal) presents a concert featuring world-renown pianist Matt Herskowitz, and our very own Deborah Kraus (mezzo-soprano) and Peter Margo (tenor), performing the work of two of America's great composers and lyricists.  Tickets $20 at L'Hermitage.  Reservations and information- or 514-744-3995.
